Canon FS100 Camcorder – 2.7″ LCD – 37x Optical – $289.99
I’ve always been interested in owning a digital camcorder and I know that Canon makes super high quality digital cameras. So I can only assume that their digital video cameras are of the same quality. The FS100 looks like it has plenty of great features that would suit my needs.
The camcorder is 8 megapixels and records in 640×480 resolution which isn’t too big but it would work well for posting videos on the internet, not necessarily for watching movies full screen though. The 2.7″ LCD monitor seems as though it would provide plenty of screen real estate and should make shooting movies a breeze.
There are a wide array of shooting modes as well such as sunset, TV, snow, beach, fireworks, night and a few more. It uses USB 2.0 for the interface between it and your computer and has a Lithium-ion battery which you can recharge which is really nice.
You can get the Canon FS100 right now for only $289.99. Normally it is $399.99 but you can get an instant $110.00 savings if you buy through TigerDirect.com.
