Canon has always been known for their superior cameras that provide amazing images at prices that everybody can afford. Their PowerShot series has been extremely popular due to the low cost but superb images that they take. I myself have a PowerShot A540 and I absolutely love it!

The PowerShot A470 is a 7.1 megapixel digital camera with a 2.5″ LCD display screen, 3.4x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. One of it’s greatest features is the ability to customize just about every single setting on the camera as well as being able to select preset modes such as Snow, Indoor, Night, Portrait, Pets/Kids and many more.

Not only does this thing just take amazing quality pictures but it also records video! It supports 320×240, 640×480 and 160×120 video recording resolutions. Sure they aren’t the best but for the price of this camera you can’t go wrong. Automatic red eye reduction and a super easy to use Print/Share button make this camera a great Christmas gift for anybody. The PowerShot A470 supports mulitmedia cards, HC MMC Plus, SD/SDHC memory and MMC plus media cards.
