Gateway M-6337 Refurbished Notebook – Dual-Core 1.86GHz – Only $549!
I’ve been on the market recently for a laptop and since I am looking to save some money I figured I would look into refurbished laptops. Refurbished laptops are pre-owned and were sent back because there was a problem with them. The manufacturer fixes the problem and sells it for a much cheaper price, it’s a great way to save a lot of money on a practically brand new laptop.
I came across the Gateway M-6337 in my searches and the specs and hardware on it look very promising! It comes with a Dual-Core 1.86GHz Intel processor, 3GB DDR2 Memory, 250GB hard drive, 15.4″ screen and Vista Home Premium. Those are really nice specs for a laptop that is less then $550 if you ask me.
The Dual Core processor should be able to handle just about anything I throw at it application wise and should be able to handle the workload that I have. I’m not looking for anything serious, just something that I can take with me wherever I go to work on. The M-6337 also has a DVD-RW drive meaning I can bring along my favorite DVDs and watch them whenever!
At 6.29 pounds it seems like it might be a little bit heavy compared to other laptops. It also comes with a 1.3 megapixel integrated webcam which will let me communicate with anybody no matter where I am. A maximum resolution of 1280×800 should provide me with plenty of work space on the beautiful 15.4″ screen. Vista Home Premium should provide me with plenty of options as well and will definitely handle the applications that I use daily to get my work done.
Buying cheap refurbished laptops is a really great idea to save some money and you are practically getting a new computer! If you are in the market for a new laptop I highly recommend you check out a refurbished laptop from a reputable dealer before wasting money.
